I am honored to be nominated for the Blogger Recognition Award! I was nominated by an awesome new friend Jessica. She has a great site for homeschool tips, entrepreneur support, and more at What’s Happening with Jessica

So what exactly is the Blogger Recognition Award?

The Blogger Recognition award is given from one blogger to another to acknowledge all of the hard work that goes into creating their own blog. Having a blog isn’t as easy as it may seem to the outside world so this award is really an incredible achievement! The blogging community is amazing and we network with each other to promote each other’s hard work by giving out this award!

Why I started blogging:

I started blogging a few years ago mainly as a way to scrapbook my family’s life but to also share my journey as a young wife/mother and the things I am passionate about. I have always aspired to have it grow and make money somehow from it but have been to intimidated to do so. Within the past year I decided to finally go for it. I started a new website and now making it a priority. So far this journey has been a huge step in my own personal growth, connected me with a bunch or wonderful people, has helped me find my voice (very cliche sounding, I know, but true).

Advice for new bloggers

Network! Find a great support group. This is something that took me a long time to do, due to being to self conscious, and I regret not reaching out to others sooner. My main advice, stay true to your beliefs. Do not change or hide your beliefs out of fear of offending someone. Be confidant in yourself!

My nominations:

Here are some of the blogs I personally am inspired by. In no particular order:

  1. Thank the blogger who nominated you and leave a link to their blog.
  2. Write a post to show your award.
  3. Give a brief story of How/Why you started blogging.
  4. Give two pieces of advice you would give to brand new bloggers.
  5. Select 10-15 other bloggers you want to give this award to.
  6. Comment on each blog letting them know you have nominated them giving the link to the post you have created.
